The Humana Basic Rx Plan (PDP) has a deductible of $590.00. After the deductible is met, you will pay a copay or coinsurance for your prescriptions depending on the drug tier and pharmacy you use. For example, in the initial coverage phase, you may pay a $1.00 copay for preferred generic drugs at standard, preferred, and mail order pharmacies. You will pay 23% coinsurance for standard generic drugs, and 48% coinsurance for preferred brand drugs. Once your total drug costs reach $2000.00, you enter the catastrophic coverage phase, where you pay nothing for covered drugs.

Additional Benefits

As a Prescription Drug (PDP) plan, health services are not covered by Humana Basic Rx Plan (PDP).

This includes doctor visits, hospital stays, and other medical services generally covered by other Medicare Advantage (MA) plans.
